The beginning…
Hi! Thank you for being here. My name is Georgia, I am a Hamphsire-based artist who grew up in the New Forest. I lived in London for 5 years and in that time spent many a weekend looking for new food/flower markets for inspiration.
My paternal grandparents were creatives; one a talented oil painter and watercolorist often focusing on still life; the other, skilled in everything from floral folk art to sewing. Much of my childhood was spent drawing and painting (and eating) at their dining room table. It is only as I write this now that I truly realise the depth of the influence these experiences had; I love food and anything floral which has been evident in all my work, even before this current collection.

Nowadays I create from my home studio - often with my cat, Billy, overseeing any progress.
I have exhibited three times at my local gallery (big thank you to Chalk’s in Lymington), and now it is time to take the next step! So here’s to the launch of my website, my first proper collection of works, and my first London based exhibition ArtBelow Spring 2026!
It may be that you find yourself here as a result of ArtBelow, my piece Spritz on Blue exhibited on the Underground at Hyde Park Corner station from 19 Feb to 4 March 2026, with a selection of prints and originals available at Ad Lib Gallery in Wimbledon from 26 Feb to 8 March.
I love putting collections together for exhibitions, but I’m always up for a commission, so please do get in touch if you have something special you’d love brought to life!
